Roel completed his Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy at the Hogeschool Zuyd and subsequently his Master’s degree in Information Management and his Post Master’s degree in Accountancy at the Nyenrode Business University.
During the years 1996 until 2007 Roel worked at the compliance and auditing departments of Deloitte and PwC.
Since 2008, Roel is based in our Maastricht office. He holds a position as Manager Financial Reporting and is responsible for the preparation of consolidated annual accounts for large and mid-sized companies. In addition he is also responsible for annual accounts of small-sized companies and other financial reports, such as interim reports, forecasts and dividend distribution tests. Roel is also responsible for our VAT compliance practice.
For annual accounts to be audited by external auditors, Roel takes care of the preparation of the annual accounts and maintains the contacts with the external auditors.
