Theo Coulen completed his Master’s degree in tax law - with a specialization in international and European tax - at Maastricht University. Theo has more than 20 years of experience as an international tax advisor and before joining Maprima in 2005 he worked at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte.
Theo holds a position as partner and heads the tax, legal and compliance practice for Maprima in The Netherlands and in Belgium.
He is the lead partner for large corporate clients and investment funds and assists wealthy families with their Dutch and Belgian businesses. His area of expertise lies in international tax, deal structuring, (real estate) investment companies, estate planning and asset protection structures and family foundations.
